Video Conferencing

Guides to Google Meet, Canvas Conferences, and BlueJeans for video conferencing.

Joining a BlueJeans Meeting

Download BlueJeans App

To access all of BlueJean's features, we recommend that all participants download the BlueJeans desktop app. There is a mobile APP but students will not be able to participate in breakout sessions while using the mobile version.

For Participants

Joining with a Meeting URL

After a meeting is created, a meeting URL is generated. If you have a recurring meeting, the URL will remain the same. Simply share the meeting URL with participants and they can click on it to join the meeting. Participants will be asked to enter their name before joining the meeting.

Joining with a Meeting ID

After a meeting is created, a meeting ID is generated. If you have a recurring meeting, the ID number will remain the same. Participants can go to nnu.bluejeans.com and Join as a Guest. They will be prompted to enter the Meeting ID and name.

For Moderators

Follow the directions above on joining a meeting as a participant. In both methods, there is an option to enter an optional passcode. You can find the passcode information in the same place you get the Meeting URL or ID. By adding that passcode, you have access to all the moderator features.

If you join through the desktop app, you can login and join any scheduled meeting or create a meeting on the fly.
