Dear Colleagues:
Greetings the day before spring break! I pray that during your break you will have moments of deep rest and joy-giving experiences.
LINK to the Registration Advising Guide for Fall 2023.
The Fall 2023 (Quad) and Spring 2024 (Quad) courses are now posted online.
Topics Courses: There are some very interesting topics courses being offered. Unfortunately, we still need many course descriptions, prerequisites, and fulfillment options. Please forward those to Esther Read once that information is available.
NEW NNU Catalog! My team has been working diligently for our new TUG catalog to go live. New format. New possibilities. (Check it out on your phone or laptop.) Please note there are few updates still in progress.
A few points to note:
Competitive Athletes: must take a KINE2760 course. Their sport does not count for the general education KINE activity requirement.
Cultural Competency: We consistently see seniors who have not met this requirement. They cannot participate in commencement if they haven't. Please work with advisees to access one of these CC experiences: FA23 and SP24.
ENGL1030A/B is No More: Instead, if students have yet to take the introductory English writing course, they must register for ENGL1040 Introduction to Academic Writing.
Idaho Birds of Prey is Back! This popular course will once again be offered and taught by David Hille next year: BIOL2320 Idaho Birds of Prey.
Online Courses: With each department enveloping the NNU Online courses, it was decided that for the 2023-24 academic year online courses will have seats for 15 TUG students. Ten seats will be reserved for GPS students. Ten waitlist spots will be available. Check for those on the Fall Online Courses 2023 and Spring Online Courses 2024 courses lists.
And remember to share with your advisees our fabulous Nighthawks in Nairobi program!
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Happy Friday!
