Studio: Video and Audio Creation in Canvas

Studio is a communication tool in Canvas that allows instructors and students to actively collaborate through video and audio media

Installing Canvas Studio

The first time you attempt to record in Canvas Studio, whether you are selecting Screen Capture or Webcam Capture, Canvas will prompt you to download the software.

Record Screen Capture

  1. Download the .exe file to your computer.
  2. Once it has loaded, click the file to begin the installation. 

  3. Go back to the Studio popup and select Record again.

Note: If you have downloaded a different version of Canvas Studio, uninstall the previous version and download the recent version from Studio.
