Northwest Nazarene University, John E. Riley Library -- Graduate Student Guide

This guide provides an overview of resources and services available through John E. Riley (NNU) to graduate students.

LIbrarians and Liaison Responsibilities

The NNU librarians have faculty status and are partners in the instructional process. Each librarian has liaison responsibilities with various departments and programs, but you can contact any of the librarians for assistance. Each librarian works an evening shift. Thursday evenings and Weekends are on a rotation basis.

Saturday: Librarians will reply to emails or research tickets by 5 p.m.; emails sent after 5 p.m. will be responded to by 9 p.m. on Sunday

Sunday: Librarians will reply to emails or research tickets by 9 p.m.; emails sent after 9 p.m. will be responded to on the next business day

Chat with a Librarian

Sometimes the chat is staffed by Writing Center consultants. If you need the assistance of a librarian you can ask to be transferred to a librarian.
