New Study Room Procedures

As we at the Learning Commons think about keeping students and personnel safe, we have implemented a new procedure for the 17 group study rooms.

Step 1: Reserve

Reserve a study room 

Same-day reservations are allowed, and you can make a reservation up to 4 weeks in advance.

Please note: Due to social distancing requirements, most study rooms are limited to 1-2 people

Step 2: Check In

When it is time for your reservation, check in at the Learning Commons Service Desk. Service Desk personnel will let you into your reserved room and give you a bag containing markers and an eraser.

Face covering policy: please wear a face covering if there is more than one person in the room.  

Step 3: Check Out

When you are finished with the room:

• erase the whiteboard wall
• take the marker bag
• close the door behind you
• return the marker bag to the Learning Commons Service Desk.
  • Return of the marker bag is the signal for Service Desk personnel to sanitize the room.
