In order to provide students in your on-campus course with exclusive access to personal copies or items from the library collection, you can place those items on reserve. To place materials on reserve you must plan ahead as the library staff needs at least 48 hours' notice for preparing the items for your students to check out. Please download and complete a Course Reserve form and send to Deanna Wilde, firstname.lastname@example.org.
See the Borrower Privileges tab in Library Policies for faculty and spouses/dependents of NNU employees.
Faculty are not limited to a specific number of interlibrary loan requests for the purpose of professional development or instructional support.
Please note: loan periods are set by the lending libraries and do not correspond to loan periods at NNU.
Please contact the library or consult the Interlibrary Loan Policy tab in Library Policies for more complete information.
All requests for new materials, questions about budget, and availability of materials should be directed to your liaison librarian. All orders should be placed by March 31st of each year so that materials can be received and funds dispersed by the end of the fiscal year on June 30. Requests can be sent by email to your liaison or sent by campus mail via a brochure or catalog that you have marked.
To comply with copyright guidelines for fair use in education be sure you either link to full text articles and books or obtain the permission of the author to post a copy in Canvas. For assistance with obtaining the permission of the author, contact your liaison librarian. The library has access to thousands of e-books and full text articles in subscription databases. For more detailed instructions and best practices see the "Linking to Sources" tab of the Copyright & Fair Use subject guide.
