Finding ebooks

There are two ways to access the library's ebooks. Just remember that our ebooks are provided by a few different companies, so the look and functionality may be different.

1) From the search box on the library's home page.

  • Choose the Find Books, Videos, Music tab. Enter search terms and click Search

Once on the result page, there are two ways to open an ebook:

  • Click the eBook icon (a blue book with an "e" in the middle). You may be asked to log in with your NNU username and password (the same username and password you use to log in to Canvas).

              OR

  • Click the title link (the title in the example is John Wesley: His Life and Thought), then look for the URI (the web address). The link will say "Access Full Text (NNU login required)"

2) From Databases A-Z on the library website

Choose Ebook Central to search just the Ebook Central collection of books directly. Other ebook collections are also listed there if you'd like to search them directly: Credo (reference books), Oxford Reference & Oxford Scholarship, and  EBSCO ebooks (hint: choose your subject from the "Browse by Category" list).
