The NNU John E. Riley Library provides access to a large college of print and eBook titles covering varying aspects of the historical record. The tabs below outline both free and licensed content available through the NNU Riley Library.

If you find an item in the library system with the number E301 .T39 2021 the item will be American History. Go to the second floor of the Peterson Learning Commons and locate the section with E. Scan the shelf until you find the E 300's, then locate the specific number for the item. At any time during the searching and research process feel free to reach out to a librarian for assistance! The John E. Riley Library provides access to a variety of licensed journal resources. If you find an article when browsing the open Web that has a publisher pay-wall, copy the article title into either EBSCO or ProQuest to find out whether you have access to the article. If the article in not available in EBSCO, ProQuest or JSTOR you may need to request the article through interlibrary loan. This is a free service through the NNU library and articles will be delivered to your NNU email. As long as you are a student at NNU there is no reason you should pay extra to access an article.
